A local history of Witton Park, a former ironworking village in County Durham, compiled by Ken Biggs, Keith Belton and Dale Daniel. Through text and many old black-and-white photographs of streets, shops, houses and residents, it follows how the village grew around its ironworks, drew workers from Wales, Ireland and elsewhere, and became a busy community by the 1860s. It also draws on residents' memories, railway photographs and maps. It will suit anyone with family or local links to Witton Park, or an interest in the industrial and social history of County Durham.
The book is in clean condition with only very light shelf wear to the covers and spine, and the inside pages shown are clean and unmarked. See photos
