A short local history of the Thetford & Watton Railway and its connecting lines between Bury St Edmunds, Thetford, Watton and Swaffham. It follows an independent attempt to build and run a railway in 19th-century East Anglia, illustrated with line drawings of stations and hand-drawn track layout plans. Of interest to railway enthusiasts and anyone researching the history of the Breckland area of Norfolk and Suffolk.
The pamphlet has chips and small tears along the edges of the front cover, particularly the bottom edge and spine edge, and the rear cover is grubby with scuff marks, a grey stain near the bottom, a crease near the spine edge and some small spots; there are also a few small marks on the inside pages.
