The Library is the journal of the Bibliographical Society, here in its Fourth Series, edited by A. W. Pollard, and described on the title page as a quarterly review of bibliography. These bound volumes from the 1930s gather scholarly articles on the history of printing, early printed books, manuscripts, bookbinding and book collecting, along with reviews and notes. They will suit bibliographers, rare book librarians, book historians and collectors who want a run of the journal for reference.
The books have some toning, dust marks and wear to the cloth spines, with a stain on the spine of Vol. XVII, and there is some rubbing to the board edges, corners and spine ends; the top edges are dusty and toned, and the fore-edges are rough-cut and toned. See photos
