A large-format technical booklet published by The Concrete Society in 1973, setting out standard ways of detailing steel reinforcement in concrete members such as beams and columns. It is illustrated with line drawings of reinforcement cages and covers topics such as bent-up bars, stirrups and column splices, with references to the British Standards and codes of practice of the period, including CP 110:1972. It will suit structural engineers, detailers and anyone interested in the history of British construction practice.
The booklet has some scuffs, scratches and marks on the front and rear covers, with rubbing and wear along the spine edge and some light creasing, and there is a small scuffed mark at the top of the inside page; the inside pages seen are otherwise clean. See photos
