Butlers lives of the Saints Volumes 1-6 4th Edition

Alban Butler's classic eighteenth-century compilation of the lives of the saints, edited for daily reading by the Rev. Bernard Kelly and arranged by the calendar so each volume covers a run of feast days through the year. Each entry gives a short account of a saint's life, martyrdom or works, and the sixth volume is a supplementary volume by Kelly. It suits Catholic readers, clergy and anyone interested in church history, hagiography or the liturgical year.

The books have some marks and wear on the covers and spines, with the gilt date lettering on the lower spines rubbed and faded, a torn paper label on the spine of Volume VI, and there are some scuff marks on the edges and corners, with some toning and dust marks to the page edges. See photos
