2. We will appraise them (we may reject a lot please don’t be offended- We reject on saleablitiy not quality of the writing!!! )
3. We issue you a store credit note which can be exhanged in our shop for other books.

( We don’t exchange most Romance style books and we may reject a percentage of Crime thrillers / general fiction. )

(We can exchange or buy 99% of., manga, sprayed edges., graphic novels, rare art books, horror, Roleplaying games and Warhammer)

Sell Your Rare book Collection for Cash

If you have general Paperback or Hardback fiction we are not interested in buying for cash unless you want to pop them in the shop we may be able to offer exchange. We don’t buy 95% of autobiographies, unless rarer music related or Horror movie related.

How to sell your books

1. Upload photos ( Jpg – 7mb max) Or list/
2. We send a quote.
3. If happy box your books (we can send a courier label and arrange collection)
4. Once arrived after quick check we send the money directly to your bank account.
5. PLEASE NOTE – If your book collection is not suitable for us, we won’t value or buy it. , please don’t be offended!!! Best to sell privately or donate to charity in these cases.

Folio Books –

Modern folios tend to be worth a lot more, with some exceptions, Fiction better than non ficiton

Older Folios most are now very tough to sell.

Box Sets tend to have good value. (Most box sets even non folio)

Rare 1st Editions (Not Harry Potters)

Difficult to define as most 1st editions don’t hold value well. It generally needs to be Hardback, classic cover and the first book of a famous author before they were famous.

Please do not be offended if we can’t buy your books, there are many amazing books that we cannot sell due to space and lack of demand, there are 125,000,000 different titles out there looking for good homes and we cannot house them all !! 🙂

Also bear in mind that if a book is available on Ebay for £2-3 with free postage we will not be able to pay much money for it, even if it is saleable (please look at the lowest not the highest price and check completed listings) –

We try our best to be fair with our cash offers if we want the books, if not then maybe try to sell them yourselves, another bookshop or ziffit /Ebay. We do pay over ziffit prices for most books that we have confidence in selling, especially the higher value books.
