These form the core of the UK indie collectible market—true rarities often traded at UK conventions (London Comic Con, Thought Bubble) and shops like Gosh! Comics and Page 45.
- The Tale of One Bad Rat (first Titan edition, 1995) – Bryan Talbot’s early seminal work, small print run before his mainstream success.
- The Wind Between Worlds (Slab-O-Concrete, 1998) – Ed Hillyer (Ilya); small UK press, highly regarded.
- The Greenhouse (Blank Slate Books, 2011) – Gary Northfield; early small press work before Derek the Sheep fame.
- Luke & Lucy series (The Works, early 2000s) – Belgian indie import with a cult UK following, early prints scarce.

These had small first printings before the series became global phenomena. UK sellers should look for first printings, often distinguished by subtle cover differences or ISBNs.
